The first two generations of Pokémon games, to me, though containing simple, old, visuals, give a feeling like I'm adventuring, wanting to know about these creatures from ancient myths and stories, becoming friends with them, taking on a role of a hero, and aiming to be a champion, as if of a sport. It's all an adventure a child would love to go on. Pokémon is like some kind of grand journey. It's like a child's fantasy.
This is, what Pokémon is to me.
Other games would later be made in the franchise, and bring even more exciting experiences.
My goal for this site is to seek and discover the magic, wonder, stories and dreams of this amazing world, and tell its many stories and experiences the players can take part and interact with.
Beyond the world of Pokemon lies other worlds of video games to explore, see places containing awe, find beauty through lands, and be part of stories and form narratives that’ll together be embracing and breathtaking adventures to hold onto. Any such worlds I seek to journey, and find said experiences from along the way I want to write on my website. (I can’t say at the moment how many of these articles will be published on the site. It’s an unsettled plan I want to map out in the future. So please stick around and see if I can come up with a strategy.)
And I hope to write about worlds that are delightful to acrobat through, and put a smile on my face. (Stick around and see what I have to write for these kinds of articles too I want to publish on the site.)
Another fact to know about me: I’m also a person creating a game of his own in his spare time. While a devlog is something I’m far from presenting to anyone, it would please me to subscribe to the website to get emailed when there’s new articles released. So eventually in the future you’ll learn about the game, and read articles I want to put out talking about the worthwhileness of making games for people, encouraging readers to start game development, and never go back on their ambitions and plans. In order to make articles such as these, I must live through the experiences to create them.
If what I have to offer on the site makes people happy, then that makes me glad if I have accomplished that. If I can inspire people to make their own adventure video games, like games I would love to show and cover on Voyage Across Many Worlds such as Pokémon and non-monster-catching games, then I'll be immensely joyed!
I hope you enjoy the content I have to offer now and in the future.
